Session 2 Blog

I went through all 4 of the suggested sites and found some interesting visual representations of various aspects of American and World History. For some of my students who have attendance issues, I can assign some of these to help them stay current. This exercise provides time to search.
I appreciate the guidelines/suggestions of where to look. I am a rookie in this vast information gathering process, so any assistance I can receive is most appreciated

Wikis are intriguing, I watched a few videos explaining how one might use them.
Question,  are there resources, like Webquest Databases,  that would offer suggestions on how to fit wikis into one's curriculum?
I just listened to a podcast on a blog from a Social Studies teacher in Missouri about the book 1776 and the addition of an illustrated edition that could be helpful when I teach the American Revolution
